Center Capital Appoints Joe Krolak to Director of Business Development for General Aviation Division

WATERBURY, Conn., Jan. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Center Capital Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Webster Bank, N.A., a subsidiary of Webster Financial Corporation (NYSE: WBS), announced today the appointment of Joe Krolak to Director, Business Development for Center Capital's General Aviation Division. Krolak will be responsible for providing aviation financing solutions to the fixed-wing aircraft marketplace throughout the central portion of the United States.

Krolak has more than 10 years of equipment financing and leasing experience, including more than seven years of aviation financing experience. Prior to joining Center Capital Corporation, he was Vice President -- Sales at the Wayzata, Minnesota-based Carlton Financial Corporation. His aviation finance experience includes National Sales Manager and Regional Marketing Manager for Textron Financial Corporation's Aircraft Finance Group, Regional Marketing Manager for Conseco Finance's Aircraft Finance Group and Regional Marketing Manager for Green Tree Financial's Aircraft Finance Group.

Krolak has a B.S. in Aviation Management from St. Cloud State University and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of St. Thomas. He resides and offices in Lakeville, MN, a suburb of Minneapolis.
